There was a three vehicle accident Thursday at approximately 5 pm in Pinehurst. The accident occurred at the corner of Page Rd and Hwy 211 at the traffic light. The accident caused traffic to be rerouted for a short period of time while emergency crews worked to clear the scene. No injuries were reported. The first vehicle’s passenger’s side was smashed in, and the side air bag deployed. The second vehicle’s front bumper came off, and the whole front end was smashed in. The third vehicle had minor damage to the front bumper.
Responding to the accident were Pinehurst Police Department, Pinehurst Fire and Rescue, and Moore County EMS.
