An 82nd Airborne Division Paratrooper died November 11 on Fort Bragg.
Spc. Terrance Salazar, 24, of Pleasanton, Texas, was an infantryman assigned to 1st Battalion, 325th Airborne Infantry Regiment, 2nd Brigade Combat Team.
Salazar was found in his room unresponsive. His fellow Paratroopers called emergency services. After assessing Salazar, the medical emergency personnel declared he was deceased. The cause of death is under investigation. No foul play is suspected.
He is survived by his father.
Salazar entered the Army in April of 2018 and arrived at Fort Bragg in October of 2018.
His awards and decorations include the National Defense Service Medal, Army Service Ribbon, and the Army Parachutist Badge.
