Aberdeen water service line replacement project

The Town of Aberdeen is beginning a water service line replacement project.

The replacement project begins on September 8 in the Robbins Walk neighborhood on all water service lines that connect to each home.

“This work is being performed due to the numerous known leaks that have occurred in the Robbins Walk area,” said the town.  “With this scope of work, there will be a cut made in the asphalt in front of each home where the water connection joins the meter box. All disturbed areas will be paved back to the current condition once all the repairs to the water service lines have been completed.”

The town is asking citizens to be cautious in the area due to construction traffic.
