Moore County Deputies arrested an Aberdeen man on breaking and entering charges.

Sheriff Godfrey said in a news release Gerald Wayne Carlyle II, 41, was arrested in February and charged with one count of breaking and entering, one count of felony larceny after breaking and entering, larceny of a firearm, possession of firearm by a convicted felon, the concealment of stolen goods, misdemeanor larceny and second degree trespassing.

Carlyle was placed in the Moore County Detention Center under a $95,000 secured bond.

Carlyle, from the 300 block of North Sandhills Blvd, allegedly broke into a home located in West End.

According to arrest records, Carlyle has a March 13th district court date.

All defendants facing criminal charges are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
