An Aberdeen man was arrested on Aug. 19 following a narcotics investigation in Pinebluff.
Xavier Brown, 23, was placed under a $50,000 bond and charged with manufacturing marijuana, felony possession of marijuana, possession of marijuana paraphernalia, carrying a concealed gun, and resisting a public officer.
“Deputies with the Moore County Sheriff’s Office, with assistance from the Southern Pines Police Department, conducted a narcotics investigation near the 200 block of Morgan Lane in Pinebluff,” reported Sheriff Ronnie Fields.
Authorities confiscated 67 marijuana plants, marijuana paraphernalia, and $1,689 in cash.
Brown is due in court on Sept. 9 and is presumed innocent until proven guilty.
