Aberdeen woman arrested heroin meth

An Aberdeen woman is behind bars after being arrested on several drug charges Wednesday.

Amanda Lynn Walker, 35, was placed at the Moore County Detention Center under a $100,000 secured bond.

Moore County Sheriff’s Department charged Walker with seven charges to include possession of heroin, possession of methamphetamine, possession with intent to manufacture/sell/deliver schedule II controlled substance, possession with intent to manufacture/sell/deliver schedule IV controlled substance, simple possession of schedule VI controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, and possession of marijuana paraphernalia, according to information from the Moore County Detention Center.

Walker was also arrested on 22 charges last month after a drug investigation. Those offenses included possession of a firearm by a felon, misdemeanor child abuse, contributing to the delinquency of a juvenile and several drug charges.

The suspect has a June 25 court date and is presumed innocent until proven guilty.
