First degree murder arrest warrants were issued for the murder of a Southern Pines man.

The Southern Pines Police Department responded to Cox Street in Southern Pines June 17 following the report of a deceased male located inside the home.

This male was identified as 65 year old Robert Glenn Davis, and an autopsy was conducted which concluded that the death of Robert Glenn Davis was a homicide, according to a news release from the Southern Pines Police Department.

The Southern Pines Police Department obtained arrest warrants on June 21 for Willie Charles Antoine Williams, 36, of Raeford, and Jamie Nicole Dawkins (AKA Jamie Hargrove), 29, of Fayetteville. These warrants were issued charging both Willie Charles Antoine Williams and Jamie Nicole Dawkins with first degree murder.

“Since June 17, 2018, both Jamie Nicole Dawkins and Willie Charles Antoine Williams have engaged in daily conduct, that by all appearances, have led investigating officers to believe that these wanted individuals are engaged in actions that constitute ‘Unlawful Flight to Avoid Prosecution’,” said Southern Pines Police Captain Charles Campbell.  “The Southern Pines Police Department has been working closely with our local, state and federal law enforcement partners to locate and arrest these two wanted suspects.”
