Arrests made after drug investigation

Six people were arrested on drug charges Thursday, June 17, according to a news release from the Moore County Sheriff’s Office.

Authorities obtained a search warrant for the 500 block of Connell Road in Carthage at the end of a drug investigation. Moore County deputies and Moore County Probation seized methamphetamine, marijuana and drug paraphernalia.

Arrested were:

Marvin Jessee, 54, of Carthage. Charges- possess methamphetamine, maintain vehicle/dwelling/place-controlled substance, and possession of drug paraphernalia. Bond: $15,000.

Stormy Jessee, 30, of Carthage. Charges- possess methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia. Bond: $3,000. 

Meagan Bruner, 33, of Pinebluff. Charges- possess methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia. Bond: $3,000.

Carrie Medlin, 53, of Carthage. Charges- possess marijuana paraphernalia and possession of drug paraphernalia. Bond: $500.

Michael Moore, 59, of Carthage. Charges- possess marijuana up to ½ ounce and possession of marijuana paraphernalia. Bond: $500.

Thurman Caddell Jr, 45, of Carthage. Charges- possess methamphetamine, simple possession schedule VI, possession of marijuana paraphernalia and possession of drug paraphernalia. He also had a failure to appear warrant for possession of drug paraphernalia. Bond: $7,000.

All defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
