Authorities were dispatched to a car accident Tuesday at noon. The single-vehicle accident occurred at Marks Road and Lillian Drive in Cameron.
First responders arrived on scene to find an SUV off the road with the occupant out of the vehicle.
The driver had no obvious injuries on scene other than shoulder pain.
The car had extensive front end damage. The windshield shattered, and airbags deployed. The vehicle suffered rear end damage as well. Car debris could be seen scattered along the side of the road.
Authorities are investigating the cause of the accident.
Crains Creek Fire and Rescue, Moore County EMS, and North Carolina State Highway Patrol responded to the scene.
