The annual Southern Pines Christmas Parade will be held this Saturday at 11:00 am.
The Southern Pines Police Department is urging the public to be aware of the No Parking signs because vehicles left in those zones will be towed.
Both sides of NW and SW Broad Street will be closed from E. Massachusettes to E. Connecticut Avenue.
The parade route will begin on Vermont Avenue and proceed down the west side of Broad Street until it reaches Massachusetts. The parade will cross the tracks and then proceed down the east side of Broad Street.
There will be a large crowd at the parade, and the Police Department is advising the parade goers to use caution.
Local marching bands, groups, and Santa will be participating in the parade for everyone’s enjoyment. The parade is sponsored by the Southern Pines Business Association and co-sponsored by the Town of Southern Pines.
