With Wednesday’s North Carolina Supreme Court ruling that halted the candidate filing period for all offices for the 2022 primary election statewide, Representative Jamie Boles has stated, “Let me reassure you that I intend to file for re-election in District 52 in the North Carolina House of Representatives when the courts announce the new filing period. I look forward to representing the people of Moore and Richmond Counties in NC House District 52!”
The NC primary election date has been moved from March 8, 2022 to May 17, 2022. A lower court will decide the constitutionality of map districts by January 11, 2022.
