‘Boone’s Removal’ – Haul it away. Call today!

When Richard Boone Hancock began helping friends haul away yard debris and unwanted items, he discovered a community-wide service need.

“It’s a very personal business, dictated by the customer,” Hancock said. “Two weeks ago, I helped an elderly lady. I climbed up into the attic, sorted things, and climbed down. It was hot up there, even though I went in the morning.”

With a motto of work hard and have fun, Hancock has been hauling away unwanted items for two years with plans to continue.

Hancock is studying construction management and business at East Carolina University (ECU).

“I interned this summer at a construction company as a project manager, overseeing trades and workers. A regular forty-hour week,” Hancock said.

Boone’s Removal hauls away items that are too large for a truck, for people without a truck, and unwanted clutter, construction debris, yard waste and trash.

“We’ll even disassemble things, like swing sets, and offer demolition,” Hancock said.

“We” are his brother, Phillip, 17, a rising senior at the O’Neal School, and Natalie Williams, 20, a rising junior at ECU.

Rates fluctuate with service needs and distance. Prices begin at $25 for removal with the truck only and $40 for the truck and trailer. Visit Boone’s Removal for pricing details

Raised with Southern grace by his mother, Blanche Hancock, the director of alumni relations at O’Neal School, and father, George Hancock, an executive director of the SERVE Center and the director of the National Center for Homeless Education, Hancock earns outstanding business reviews.
