Moore County Sheriff Ronnie Fields announced the arrest of one person following an investigation in the Cameron area.
On July 19, the Moore County Sheriff’s Office received a report of breaking and entering and larceny.
Deputies responded to the scene and apprehended Amber Smith, 28, of Cameron, during the commission of the crime.
Smith was charged with one count of felony breaking and entering, felony larceny after breaking and entering, and misdemeanor possession of stolen property and was committed to the Moore County Detention Center under a $2,500 secured bond.
The suspect is due in court on Aug. 17 and is presumed innocent until proven guilty.
