Join in for free Summer Reading Stations to help combat the summer reading slide taking place one week in June (12-17) and one week in July (17-22) from noon-4:30 each day.
Children pre-K through 8th grade can stop by and grab a book, STEM activity, snack, and water to enjoy reading this summer. Children are welcome to visit sites each day to get another book to enjoy. 17th Annual Stuff the Bus:

Each year, the CARE Group (Moore Buddies Mentoring & Moore County Literacy Council) partners with Staples in Aberdeen to collect school supplies to distribute to our Moore County Schools to help our local students and teachers succeed in the upcoming school year.
This year will have the bus ready to be stuffed along with bins set up in Staples for donation drops, pre-made school supply boxes available for purchase at Staples for $5, and online options available for those who would like to donate from the comfort of their own home.
Please help Stuff the Bus by donating extra school supplies either on-site or online!
More fun stuff will be added this year including food trucks so stay tuned!
Adult Dodgeball Tournament:

All of you average joes and purple cobras come out and join in for a fun day of dodgeball and fundraising for the CARE Group programs! $150 for a team of 6 plus 1 substitute player. $5 for Fan in the Stands pass. Food trucks, drinks, raffles, and contests! Losers bracket buy-in for those out of the main bracket. Prizes for first-place teams in the main bracket and losers bracket, best team uniform, and highest fundraising team.
