Carolina Brotherhood cycled through Moore County Wednesday in remembrance of fallen fireman, police officers, and first responders.

The route the riders take varies from year to year as they cycle across the Carolinas in honor of fallen brothers and sisters.  Last year, they rode through Moore County on June 12.

According to the Carolina Brotherhood’s website, their mission is “to provide emotional and financial support for the families of those who lost their lives in the line of duty from the Carolinas.”

The cyclists and volunteers raise money in the weeks leading up to the event for awareness of their cause.

The cyclists’ journey started on July 9 at Moncks Corner, SC.  They arrived in Moore County Wednesday morning and had a rest stop at Aberdeen Fire Department, Sandhills Community College, and other locations in our county.
