A Carthage woman was arrested for obtaining money by false pretense and felony larceny, according to a news release from Moore County Sheriff’s Office.

Lisa Rowland Morris, from the 300 block of Star Ridge Road, was arrested on October 30th and charged with five counts of felony obtaining money by false pretense and one count of felony larceny.

Morris made unauthorized cash withdrawals from Eastwood Volunteer Fire Department, according to Sheriff Godfrey.

Morris was taken to Moore County Detention Center and released on a $10,000 unsecured bond with a November 28th court date.
