new biz opens Aberdeen

Ice Breakers Snoballs will soon offer outdoor games at their new location.

Ice Breakers offers New Orleans style shaved ice with over 500 flavor combinations and is open seven days a week from noon to 8 p.m.

When the set-up for the outdoor games is complete, the hours will be extended.

“People are welcome to have a birthday party and bring their own food but bring enough for other customers’ children because we don’t want them to feel left out,” owner Tasha Finley said.

There is no charge to have a party at Ice Breakers.

Some of the games to be offered are corn-hole, hopscotch, football and baseball throw and basketball hoops. The play area will be next to the colorful umbrella-covered picnic tables.

Their location is 504 South Sandhills Blvd across from the Department of Motor Vehicles in Aberdeen.

Ice Breakers also has a location in Laurinburg and is owned by Sandy and DeWayne Diggs, and Shawn and Tasha Finley.
