The Moore County Health Department has been notified of confirmed positive COVID-19 test results for four staff members and one resident of RHA Health Services of Aberdeen located on Robin Hood Lane.
RHA Health Services is an intermediate care facility that provides comprehensive support services for people with intellectual, physical and developmental disabilities.
In long-term care or congregate living settings, a COVID-19 outbreak is defined as two or more laboratory-confirmed cases.
With the addition of RHA Health Services, Moore County’s cumulative total of COVID-19 outbreaks in long-term care and congregate living settings is now ten since the pandemic began.
Of the ten total outbreaks Moore County has experienced, three have been declared concluded (Pinehurst Healthcare & Rehabilitation Center, Fox Hollow, and Seven Lakes Assisted Living and Memory Care).
