Electronic reporting system broadens picture of NC COVID-19 deaths

On July 20, the Moore County Health Department was notified of confirmed positive COVID-19 test results for three staff members of Accordius Health, in Aberdeen, located at 915 Pee Dee Road. At this time, no residents of the facility have tested positive.

Testing for all affected residents and staff will take place July 22-24.

This marks the fourth COVID-19 outbreak at a congregate living facility in Moore County to date. In a congregate living setting, a COVID-19 outbreak is defined as two or more laboratory-confirmed cases.
