Deputies arrest 3 on drug charges in West End

Moore County Deputies arrested three people on drug charges after searching a home in West End Tuesday.

“Deputies with the Moore County Sheriff’s Office conducted a consent search at a residence in the 1500 block of Murdocksville Road,” said Sheriff Fields in a statement. 

Methamphetamine, marijuana, non-tax paid alcohol, and drug paraphernalia were confiscated during the search.

Arrested were Daniel Blue, Kimberly Ritter, and Timothy Ritter. All three suspects are from West End.

Daniel Blue, 65, was charged with possession of methamphetamine, maintaining a vehicle/dwelling place for controlled substances, possession of marijuana up to ½ ounce, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of marijuana paraphernalia, and possess/sell non-tax paid alcohol. He was placed under a $5,000 secured bond.

Kimberly Ritter, 24, was given a $25,000 secured bond and charged with possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia, maintaining a vehicle/dwelling place for controlled substances, and misdemeanor child abuse. She was also served with an outstanding arrest warrant for misdemeanor larceny and possession of stolen goods/property.

Timothy Ritter, 28, was arrested for possession of marijuana less than ½ ounce, possession of marijuana paraphernalia, and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was placed under a $1,000 unsecured bond.

Suspects are scheduled to appear in Moore County District Court on March 3 and are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
