Deputies arrest five after drug investigation

Five individuals are facing drug charges following a search in Eagle Springs, according to a statement from Moore County Sheriff Ronnie Fields.

“On August 31, 2022, Deputies with the Moore County Sheriff’s Office executed a search warrant in the 200 block of Matherson Lane in Eagle Springs,” said Fields. “During the investigation, deputies located heroin, methamphetamine, marijuana, items of drug paraphernalia, and items of marijuana paraphernalia. The search warrant was executed at the conclusion of a drug investigation.”

All five individuals arrested are from Eagle Springs.

Albert Caddell, 53, Sarah Becknell, 62, and Brooke Gallimore, 24, were each charged with possession of methamphetamine, maintaining a vehicle/dwelling place for controlled substances, and possession of drug paraphernalia. Caddell and Becknell were placed under $5,000 secured bonds. Gallimore’s unsecured bond was set at $20,000.

Sean Christian, 35, is facing charges of possession of heroin and possession of drug paraphernalia. His unsecured bond was set at $5,000.

Rashauna Cochran, 42, was charged with simple possession of schedule VI controlled substance and possession of marijuana paraphernalia and was issued a written promise to appear.

All bonds were issued by Magistrate Gagan.

All suspects are expected in court on Sept. 28 and are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
