A man from Robbins was placed at the Moore County Detention Center under a $25,000 secured bond and is facing several drug charges, according to a statement from Moore County Sheriff Ronnie Fields.
“On January 20, 2023, Deputies with the Moore County Sheriff’s Office executed a search warrant in the 100 block of Littlefield Lane in Robbins,” said Fields in a press release. “During the investigation, Deputies located methamphetamine, firearms, items of drug paraphernalia, and $542.00 in currency. The search warrant was executed at the conclusion of a drug investigation.”
Ignacio Sanchez Gomez, 48, is facing charges of trafficking in methamphetamine by possession, possession with intent to sell and deliver methamphetamine, possession of methamphetamine, maintaining a vehicle/dwelling place for controlled substances, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
The suspect is due in court on Jan. 26 and is presumed innocent until proven guilty.
