Deputies arrest suspect in West End on 7 drug charges

Deputies with the Moore County Sheriff’s Department arrested a man in West End on seven drug charges.

According to a news advisory from Sheriff Ronnie Fields, Stetson Eddy, 37, of Lexington, VA, was arrested on Jan. 2 during a traffic stop. The suspect’s vehicle was pulled over in the 7300 block of Highway 211.

Deputies confiscated marijuana, THC concentrate cartridges, THC edibles, THC wax, items of marijuana paraphernalia, and $2,173 in cash.

He was charged with trafficking in marijuana, felony possession of marijuana, possession with intent to sell and deliver marijuana, felony possession of schedule VI controlled substance, possession with intent to sell and deliver schedule VI controlled substance, maintaining a vehicle/dwelling place for controlled substances, possession of marijuana paraphernalia, and speeding.

Stetson was placed under a $151,000 secured bond at the Moore County Detention Center.

He is due in court on Thursday and is presumed innocent until proven guilty.
