Deputies seize cocaine, marijuana in Addor community

A 52-year-old man from Pinebluff faces several charges after being arrested at the end of a drug investigation.

John Ray was arrested on charges of possession with intent to sell and deliver cocaine, felony possession of cocaine, possession with intent to sell and deliver marijuana, maintain a vehicle, dwelling, or place for controlled substance, simple possession of schedule VI-controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, and possession of marijuana paraphernalia.

In a press release, Moore County Sheriff Ronnie Fields said the investigation was in the Addor community. 

“On May 26th, 2023, Detectives with the Moore County Sheriff’s Office executed a search warrant in the 1300 block of Currant Street Extension in Addor,” said Fields. “During the search, Detectives located crack cocaine, marijuana, and assorted items of drug paraphernalia.” 

Lee was committed to the Moore County Detention Center on a $35,000 secured bond with a court date on Wednesday. He is presumed innocent until proven guilty.
