Dollar Tree armed robbery suspects arrested

Moore County Sheriff Ronnie Fields announced two arrests following an armed robbery investigation in the Whispering Pines area.

On Nov. 15, 2022, the Moore County Sheriff’s Office received a report of an armed robbery at the Dollar Tree on Highway 22 in Whispering Pines. The offender entered the store, allegedly took various small merchandise items, and allegedly told the store clerk they had a gun before fleeing the scene.

On Jan. 4, 2023, sheriff’s investigators executed a search warrant at a residence in the West End area in connection with the robbery, where they located evidence connected to the incident and arrested Jonathan Bullock, 46, of West End, and Sharitta Wilson, 44, of West End, in connection with the robbery.

Bullock was charged with one count of felony robbery with a dangerous weapon, one count of felony conspiracy to commit armed robbery, one count of misdemeanor possession of marijuana, and one count of misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia and was committed to the Moore County Detention Center under a $95,000 secured bond pending a first court appearance in Moore County District Court on Thursday, Jan. 26.

Wilson was charged with one count of felony conspiracy to commit armed robbery, one count of felony accessory after the fact to armed robbery, one count of misdemeanor possession of marijuana, and one count of misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia and was committed to the Moore County Detention Center under a $75,000 secured bond pending a first court appearance in Moore County District Court on Thursday, Jan. 26.

All defendants facing criminal charges are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
