The Father’s House Closet Robbins Ministries is currently accepting donations to help Moore County residents in need.
The organization is a free clothing closet assisting anyone in Moore County who is in need of clothing, food, household items, or toys.
Donations can be dropped off anytime at the Father’s House Closet Robbins Ministries, located at 535 Bascom Chapel Road in Robbins. Southern Moore County residents who wish to donate items may do so by dropping them off at 103 Boyd Lane in Southern Pines.
The Father’s House Closet Robbins Ministries is a community organization formed in 2017 by Ronnie Davis and Betty Dennis as part of The Father’s House Pentecostal Holiness Church.
“We’re also doing care package bags and all items are needed by April 12,” said Davis. “We are in need of crochet, washcloths, prayer cloths, bottled water, brown or white paper bags, small bottles of olive oil, and all items can be dropped off at either The Father’s House Closet of Robbins Ministries or at the Southern Pines location.”
Davis said they are also holding a cat and dog food drive for Animal Advocates of Moore County and donations are needed by April 14.
They are also currently accepting Easter donations.
“Right now, we have a drive going on until April 16, and we’re taking gently used and new Easter baskets, Jesus candy, Jesus coloring books, and anything to put in a basket as far as religion items,” said Davis.
Anyone who is in need of charitable items, may stop by the free clothing closet every Saturday from 10 a.m. – 3 p.m.
The community is invited to attend church service every Sunday at 11 a.m. with Pastor Sharon Branch.
