Emergency crews responded to a mobile home fire Sunday just off Beulah Hill Road past Taylortown around 4:25 PM.
The mobile home, located on Michaels Loop Drive, suffered extensive damage. The fire appeared to have started in the back of the home.
The Red Cross arriving on scene to assist the owner of the mobile home.
One person was at the home when the fire broke out but managed to get out safely. The Red Cross was called and was on the scene assisting the family. The Fire Marshal is investigating the cause of the fire.
The front entrance of home suffered smoke damage
Authorities closed Beulah Hill Road at the intersection of Michaels Loop Drive and rerouted traffic while firefighters battled the blaze.
Pinehurst Fire Department, Southern Pines Fire Department, Eastwood Fire Department, Aberdeen Fire Department, and the West End Fire Department responded to the scene.
