Pinehurst Police Department and Moore County Sheriff’s Office will be placing more patrol cars on Highway 211 between Hoffman Road and the Village of Pinehurst, according to a news release by Sheriff Godfrey.
This increased presence of traffic enforcement is in connection to several complaints from citizens about numerous speeding cars in the area.
Law enforcement is urging drivers to watch their speed, refrain from distracted driving such as texting and driving, and allow for ample time to get to your destination.
