The Better Business Bureau (BBB) is warning consumers about an online retailer based in Raeford who sells custom apparel aimed at military consumers.
There have been 97 complaints filed with BBB on Love & War Clothing in the past three years with 4,500 inquiries on the company and 23 negative reviews. Because of this, BBB has given the company an F rating.
Some of the listed complaints state being charged for orders never received, and Love & War Clothing has been unresponsive to phone calls and emails regarding the situation.
At one point, the company stated it was no longer accepting new orders and would reopen in August; however, the company has failed to do so, and the company’s domain name expired in October. The website is now pending renewal or deletion.
Love & War clothing has failed to answer BBB’s numerous phone calls, emails, and mail is being returned undeliverable.
BBB has verified that the owner of Love & War Clothing has opened a brick and mortar store named Southern Alternative in Fayetteville. Phone calls to Southern Alternative have also gone unanswered.
