A Carthage man was arrested for sexual exploitation of a minor and was placed at the Moore County Detention Center under a $50,000 secured bond, according to a news release from Moore County Sheriff Ronnie Fields.
Raymond Walker Jr, 34, was arrested on Oct. 5 and is facing charges of two counts of felony second degree sexual exploitation of a minor and two counts of felony third degree sexual exploitation of a minor.
“The arrest followed an undercover investigation initiated with information provided to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children,” said Fields.
No other information was released. “The investigation is still ongoing at this time,” said Fields.
The suspect is due in court on Nov. 2 and is presumed innocent until proven guilty.
