A Southern Pines man was arrested Wednesday in Pinebluff on heroin, cocaine, and other drug charges.
“On October 27th, 2021, Deputies with the Moore County Sheriff’s Office initiated a traffic stop in the 400 block of North Walnut Street in Pinebluff, said Moore County Sheriff Ronnie Fields about the arrest of Antonio Wright. “During the traffic stop, Deputies conducted a search of the vehicle which resulted in them locating Heroin, Cocaine, and items of drug paraphernalia.”
Wright, 36, was jailed under a $35,000 secured bond and charged with possession with intent to sell and deliver schedule I controlled substance-(heroin), possession with intent to sell and deliver schedule II-controlled substance-(cocaine), maintain vehicle/dwell/place-controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, open container, and speeding.
The suspect is due in court on Wednesday and is presumed innocent until proven guilty.
