Moore County Sheriff Ronnie Fields announced the arrest of Stevie Lee Garner, of Seagrove, on four charges.

Fields said Garner broke into a home in Robbins.

“The Moore County Sheriff’s Office received a 911 call reporting an assault that was in progress,” said Fields. “Deputies were able to arrive on scene and place the suspect in custody. The victim and suspect were both transported to First Health Moore Regional and were treated for injuries.”

Garner was charged with felony breaking and entering, assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill, assault on a female, and misdemeanor false imprisonment.

The suspect was placed under a $10,000 secured bond at the Moore County Detention Center.

He has a Nov. 12 court date and is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
