A Carthage man was jailed without bond after being charged with assaulting a woman in front of a child Sunday afternoon, according to information from the Moore County Sheriff’s Office.
William Francis Soukup, 47, from the 400 block of Fernandez Lane, was arrested and charged with assault on a female, assault inflicting serious injury with a minor present, assault by strangulation, and assault by pointing a gun.
Soukup has a December 12th court date.
