Man wanted on outstanding warrants arrested after breaking into Robbins home

Moore County Sheriff Ronnie Fields announced the arrest of an individual following an investigation in the Robbins area.

On February 7, the Moore County Sheriff’s Office received a report of breaking and entering, larceny to a residence in Robbins.

On the evening of March 29, sheriff’s deputies arrested Cotey Dunlap, 26, of Robbins, on one count of breaking and entering, felony larceny, felony possession of stolen goods, according to a news release from the sheriff’s office.

Dunlap had additional outstanding warrants for his arrest from multiple jurisdictions for charges including, common law robbery, felony larceny, felony possession of stolen goods, assault on a female, communicating threats, injury to personal property, unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Dunlap was admitted to the Moore County Detention Center under a $63,000 secured bond with a first court appearance on April 6.
