The Moore County Sheriff’s Office Animal Services is closed this week due to coronavirus exposure.
The sheriff’s department made the announcement Monday morning.
The shelter will not accept “strays and animal surrenders;” however, “Animal Services Deputies are available for all other calls for service.”
When it is safe, the shelter will reopen, but the sheriff’s department did not give a date.
