The Moore County Chamber of Commerce is presenting a “transformative leadership keynote,” Leveraging Emotional Intelligence to Enhance Communication, Performance & Accountability, featuring Dr. Jeremy S. Haskell. This special event will take place on Friday, March 21, from 9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at Fletcher Hall, Sandhills Community College Campus.
Dr. Haskell, a board-certified clinical psychologist and recently retired U.S. Air Force senior Operational Psychologist, brings 16 years of expertise in personnel selection, team building, executive coaching, and leadership development. Having worked extensively within aviation and special forces communities, Dr. Haskell offers valuable insights into the role of Emotional Intelligence (EI) in workplace success.
Daniel Goleman, a pioneer in the field, defines Emotional Intelligence as “the ability to recognize, understand, and manage our own emotions, while also recognizing, understanding, and influencing the emotions of others.” This keynote will provide participants with actionable strategies to improve self-awareness, self-management, relational awareness, and relationship management, ultimately fostering a more productive and cohesive workplace.
