The Moore County Health Department has reduced its hours due to Governor Cooper’s statewide stay-at-home order, according to a news advisory from the department.
The new schedule goes into effect at noon on Tuesday and lasts until April 30.
The Health Department’s main building, located at 705 Pinehurst Ave. in Carthage, will be open by appointment only for vital records and Women, Infants, and Children Supplemental Nutrition Program on Monday, Wednesday, and Fridays from 8 a.m. – 4 p.m. Please call 910-947-3271 to schedule an appointment.
The Environmental Health building, located at 1042 Carriage Oaks Drive in Carthage, will be closed to the public. Please call 910-947-6283 Monday – Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. to schedule inspections, sewage and water complaints, or for any questions you may have.
