The Southern Pines Veterans Day Parade had something for everyone.  Even the weather was beautiful, albeit a bit chilly. The blue skies were home to skydivers and antique planes that thrilled the crowds.

Broad Street was packed with parade goers and a sea of red, white, and blue as the American flags lined the streets. People enjoyed music, military vehicles, fire trucks, ROTC, Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, antique cars, vintage military aircraft flyover by The Bandit Flight Team, and of course, our Veterans!

Sandhills Sentinel would like to express our gratitude to the men and women who have so bravely served our country. Let us not forget the families of those soldiers and the sacrifices they make so that their family member may serve. Your sacrifices do not go unnoticed. We owe our freedom to each and every one of you.
