Man receives 10 years after driving to Aberdeen to meet 13-year-old for sex

A man from Mooresville was arrested after allegedly driving to Aberdeen to meet up with a 13-year-old girl for sex.

“The individual drove to Aberdeen with the intent of meeting a 13-year-old female he met online for the purpose of engaging in an unlawful sexual act,” said Moore County Sheriff Ronnie Fields in a news release.

Brett Frazier, 30, was arrested on one count of felony solicitation of a minor by a computer or other electronic.

The suspect was arrested following a joint investigation with Moore County Sheriff’s Office and the Federal Bureau of Investigation.

Frazier was placed at the Moore County Detention Center under a $25,000 secured bond.

He has a May 6 court date and is presumed innocent until proven guilty.
