Shortly before 1 p.m. Monday, multiple fire departments were called to a structure fire in the 500 block of Fox Spring Drive in Robbins.

The first units on scene reported heavy smoke coming from the second floor of the two-story residential structure.

The occupants of the home were able to evacuate without injury. 

The second floor was completely destroyed by the fire, and the first floor took on heavy water damage.

The homeowner reported hearing a pop at the breaker box before the house began to fill with smoke.

The cause of the fire is being investigated by the Moore County Fire Marshall at this time. 

Responding to the scene was Robbins Fire and Rescue, Highfalls Fire and Rescue, Westmoore Fire and Rescue, Carthage Fire and Rescue, Seven Lakes Fire and Rescue air truck, Moore County Sheriff’s Department, Moore County EMS, and the Moore County Fire Marshall.

Cypress Point Fire and Rescue were requested to standby in Carthage fire district and Chatham County Station 5 was requested to standby for Highfalls fire district.
