Police are investigating what they believe to be a murder-suicide in Pinehurst Tuesday.
Officers were called to the home on Lacosta Lane just after 2 p.m. when a neighbor called for a welfare check, according to Pinehurst Police Deputy Chief Glen Webb.
Upon entering the home, officers found Cynthia Dannar, 58, and Kevin Dannar, 51, deceased from gunshot wounds in a bedroom. Authorities said Kevin Dannar shot his wife before shooting himself.
Police said they found the bodies eight to 10 hours after the incident.
Cynthia Dannar owned Dannar Hypnotherapy on Page Road in Pinehurst.
