Replacement plan NC license plates begins

The N.C. Division of Motor Vehicles will open a new license plate agency (LPA) on July 23 in Moore County.

The agency will be located at 141 South Middleton St. in Robbins.

The LPA will be open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday-Friday, except on state holidays. Joey and Martha Boswell will be the LPA’s operators and the contact phone number is 910-690-6650.

The new agency replaces the location in the Robbins Town Hall at 101 North Middleton St., which closed in January. The other Moore County LPA is in the Town and Country Shopping Center in Aberdeen.

LPAs offer vehicle registration services and title transactions, as well as vehicle license plate renewals, replacement tags and duplicate registrations. Currently, there are 127 license plate agencies operating across North Carolina.

Services such as property tax payments and registration renewals can be completed online at www.MyNCDMV.gov.
