Adrienne Denise Durant, 55, of Southern Pines, North Carolina gained her wings on Saturday, July 20, 2019 at FirstHealth Hospice is Pinehurst, North Carolina. She was born to the late Elease Durant in Pinehurst, North Carolina on May 10, 1964. She was the second of five siblings.

She was educated in the Moore County School system and grew up attending Huggins Memorial Church in Southern Pines, North Carolina.  At an early age Adrienne joined Job Corps and relocated to Mobile, Alabama, where she spent her young adult life. She later returned to Moore County where she worked for FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital for 20 years.

Adrienne is survived by six daughters; Tamika Durant of Southern Pines, North Carolina,  Antionette Durant of Pinebluff, North Carolina, Tiffany Gamble-Sanchez of Baltimore, Maryland, Arie Gamble of Pinebluff, North Carolina, Jacqueline Jackson of Southern Pines, North Carolina and Xandra Mcmillan of Southern Pines, North Carolina; two sisters, Arthurine Brown of Florence, South  Carolina, and Avis Blue of Apex, North Carolina; two brothers, Phillip Durant and Cedric Durant both of Southern Pines, North Carolina; fourteen grandchildren, Shaina, Xavier, Alana, Jerry Jr., Shaniyah, Samayah, Tanaisa, Madeline, Darontae, Zaymien, Daneigh, Dahlia, Jace, and Nola, and a host of loving aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.

Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 am on Friday, July 26, 2019 at Jones and Little Funeral Home Chapel in Aberdeen, North Carolina.
