Obituary for Allegra T. Taylor

Allegra T. Taylor, 54, died on Tuesday, February 23, 2022, at First Health Moore Regional Hospital.

She was born October 21, 1967, in Pinehurst, NC to her amazing and late mother Carol Taylor Avery and late father Clifton Molly Johnson. She attended and graduated from Pinecrest High School. She also studied at Sandhills Community College and graduated in the medical field. She worked in various medical facilities. She always had a passion for taking care of others.

Allegra (Terrell) enjoyed a good party. She loved to read, shop, cook, take long drives, laugh, and be loud on the phone with friends and family. She also loved her daughters so much. She called them her squad. She spent her life since they were born making sure they were safe, secure, happy, and loved. Terrell would also wake up on weekends and play music to let the girls know it’s time to clean but to dance while doing that. She loved her mother and grandmother very deeply as well. Her presence was always felt when she was around, she was magical like that.

Allegra (Terrell), is survived by her 2 daughters, Charisma Taylor (Southern Pines, NC) and Brianna Harris (Winston-Salem, NC). Her brothers Shelton Newby, Jacksonville, FL, Baxter Taylor, Taylortown, NC, and Marvin Taylor (Tara), Taylortown, NC. Grandmother, Mable Gaddy, Taylortown, NC. A host of great aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives, and friends.

She is predeceased by her mother, father, and brother Conzallar Newby.

Memorial services will be 2:00 pm on Saturday, March 5, 2022, at Galilee Baptist Church, 8148 Main Street, West End, NC 27376.

Care of the family is entrusted to Crumpler Funeral Home-Aberdeen.
