Alma Brundage Howell, 90, passed away on April 19, 2020 at her long-term care facility.
She was born June 26, 1929 in Cleveland, OH to the late Paul and Laura Welch Brundage.
Alma is survived by her children Mark Howell (Nancy), Paul Howell (Connie), Laurie Phillips; and David Howell (Sheila). She is also survived by six grandchildren Michael (Karissa), Jennifer, Tom, Matthew (Annie), Christine (Jonathan) and Stephen (Amber); and two great-granddaughters Penelope and Brooklyn.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her son-in-law Frank Phillips.
She was married to William E. Howell until his passing on January 16, 2014. They enjoyed living close to their children in San Diego, Kentucky and settled in Pinehurst in 2010. While both accountants, she served many offices in the churches they joined. She was a miniature enthusiast enjoying making vignettes, many of which have been donated to the Sandhills Festival of Trees. She provided spiritual support to many throughout her life and supported family traditions, many of which her kids carry on today. She was a light on the earth to many. She is missed.
