Angela Jenean Sweat Martatos, age 52, of Carthage, passed away on Saturday, July 10, 2021 at FirstHealth Hospice House, surrounded by her family.
Angie was born in Moore County on March 31, 1969 to Osborne Sweat and Pauline McDonald Sweat. She was a loving mother, daughter, sister, aunt, grandmother and friend and will be greatly missed.
She is survived by her mother, Pauline Sweat of Carthage; children, David Wayne Smith of Cameron and Angelina Lynn Martatos of Sanford; sisters, Amber Lynn Mills of Cameron, Ann Sweat, Cindy Sweat and Tina Breden all of Florida; brothers, Daryl Wayne Sweat of Goldsboro NC, William Raymond Sweat of Texas and Richard Carroll Furr of Whispering Pines, Perry Sweat of Montana, Jimmy Sweat and Henry Sweat both of Georgia; grandchildren, Zari Martatos and Rhys James Clevenger.
She was preceded in death by her father, Osborne Sweat.
