Angela Sistrunk Painter 46, died Saturday, July 31, 2021, at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital, Pinehurst, NC, surrounded by her family.
Angela was a native of Moore County and a graduate of Sandhills Community College with a degree in Cosmetology. She worked at Wendy’s Cuts and Styles for many years. Angie loved people, with an outgoing personality, she never met a stranger. She could be opinionated at times but was good hearted and was always ready to help anyone. Angie loved her family, trips to the beach and “sweets”. She was a daughter of the late Michael James Sistrunk and Martha Hussey Brewer.
Angie is survived by her husband of 30 years, Mitchell: sons: Shad Painter, Tyler Painter and Casey Dennis; daughter: Josie Painter; granddaughter: Bailie and soon to be born, grandson: Jameson; sister: Patricia Bezouska; many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Graveside service will be 11:00 AM, Tuesday, August 3, 2021 at Putnam Friends Church Cemetery, with the Reverend James Brewer officiating. The family will receive friends, following the service, at the home of Tammy Spivey, 169 Spivey Road, Carthage, NC.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 PM, Monday, August 2, 2021 at Kennedy Funeral Home.
