Ann Virginia Chatterton Geraghty, of Pinehurst NC, quietly passed away on the 11 of August 2019, at the age of 85. She is survived by her husband of 66 years, Raymond Thomas Geraghty, a US Air Force veteran.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her 5 children, Raymond and his wife Cynthia of East Berlin, PA, Particia Cheperuk of Mastick NY, JoAnne and her husband Steve of Brandon FL, Gerard of Bayport NY and Mathew and his wife Patricia of Brentwood NY. There were also 13 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Geraghty and her husband Ray moved from Brentwood NY to Pinehurst in 1995. She was a former member of the Pinehurst Country Club and an active member of the Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church of Pinehurst.
There will be a Funeral Mass Wednesday, 8-14-19, at 11:00am at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Pinehurst.
The family has requested that in lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Ann Geraghty be made to the American Cancer Society, 8300 Health Park, Suite 10, Raleigh, NC 27615.
