Mr. Boyd Duncan of Aberdeen passed away unexpectedly on December 24, 2019, in his home at the age of 77.

Boyd was born in Columbus County on January 30, 1942, to the late Burris Franklin Duncan and Connie Nobles Duncan. Boyd will always be remembered for his strong ideals and beliefs. He enjoyed shooting his firearms and going to Mac’s for breakfast. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Wanda, and his brothers, Donald, and Joseph Duncan.

He is survived by his son, Keith Duncan of Carthage; his daughters, Kimberly Livengood of Carthage, Brenda Duncan of Springhill, Fl, Michelle Duncan of Rockingham; his brothers, Lloyd Duncan of Carthage, James Duncan of Aberdeen, Billy Duncan of West End; his sisters, Cecil Belton of Vass, Ruby Ring of Aberdeen, Edna Duncan of Eastwood; 6 grandchildren, Amanda Nunn, Sabrina Banks, Zachary Duncan, Travis Cole, Samuel Cole; 2 great-grandchildren, Cole Nunn and Keagan Black.

A private graveside service will be held in the Lakeview Cemetery.

Care of the family is entrusted to Crumpler Funeral Home of Aberdeen.
