Carlette Allred Craven, age 93, of Vass, passed away on Thursday, February 13, 2020 at Seven Lakes Assisted Living in West End.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, February 15, 2020 at 2:00 PM at Cox Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Authur Warren officiating. Burial will follow in Lakeview Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home from 1 until 2.
Carletta was born in Randolph County on February 14, 1926 to the late McCray and Maude Allred. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her husband, Burney Craven, Jr., children, Debra Adams and Robert Craven, four sisters and one brother. She was a loving mother, sister, aunt, grandmother and friend and will be greatly missed.
She is survived by a son, Steven Craven of Lakeview; sister Annabelle of Asheboro; brother, Ronald Allred of Albemarle; grandchildren, Steven (Michele) of Lakeview, James (Maija) of Carthage, Matthew (Linda) of Vass, Michelle and Melissa both of Apex; seven great-grandchildren.
